Blog Post 4: "We love The British"

Mr. President: why should the idea of liberty came across the mind of our people. Have they not notice the great advantages that the British have given us upon their protection, and their knowledge? This has not to be the time for refusal and independence when we are yet beginning to know what we are really going to face upon our enemies or allies, the Indians? Yet we know little about the land we are living upon. Have you all not notice how our life have changed and how we have changed their lives? Our colonies are all dependant to this nation, for which we are in debt for giving us the opportunity of at least being here, and yet this man want to rebel against the and look for freedom!
Freedom is yet a strong word to be using along now a day. We are yet not ready for an independent stage in this place we are living. It would be too risky to be left alone and with no protection and no Tea! Have you yet see a British in these colonies who do not drink any tea? By declaring independence we would cancel all treaties with the British nation, and this will bring chaos to our people. We are not formally settled in this continent, which will leave us in the air. We can not be subsiding our own colonies with our own production yet! We are not that powerful, and until we are they are the only ones willing to help us.
The idea that Mr. Patrick inducted of being yet slaves of the British is obnoxious. From my point of view, we are only serving our queen and king, we are not being slaves, and yet they are still giving us the protection that we need. Being a slave for the British army is much better than being a slave for the Indians. We were told about the lady who got kidnapped by those animals, and it was said that she suffered with this people. It is also said that she was not only treated as an animal, but was seen and put to work like one. I would totally agree that we are being slaves of the British queen and king, but I would prefer to serve the Queen and king, than to serve as this matter to the people that we yet don’t know, and that kill our people, and our home.
Mr. President, and everybody else that is speaking up for the liberty, start thinking! What is going to be our destiny if we are left alone with no military support, and with no help or care of the king and Queen? What will be of the families that will loose all they have because they where not protected and the Indians came and attacked them. Will we be able to live alone, and yet be receiving threats from the Indians? What will be our destiny if we can not over come the power of so many people who are willing to kill us as soon as the militaries are gone? Think about how your family will live, and what changes will begin to come to our so suffered economy. If being the path of slavery the one which will protect my family, then let it be for me and for ones who follow.
