USA believes that Cuba should still be restricted:

Should US reconnect with Cuba?

1. The current event that the article is dealing with is a card send by Cuban congress men asking president Obama, to soften the rigorous restrictions of flying into this country. President Obama committee is studding the possibilities of reconnecting with Cuban flights for academic, cultural, and athletic reasons.


2. The people involved in this article are mostly the American and the Cuban. Individually, they are 5 congress men, and the Cuban People.

3. I personally believe that the problem with this article is the lack of further information, it only gives background information. I believe that theirs no bias in this article, because it is talking about international relationships which have no relevance to the Honduran economy or industry, so theirs no bias for one side nor the other. The aspects of the event that are left out are the official thoughts of the dictatorship on Cuba, because this article is wrote base on a group of US congress men of Cuban origin.

4. My opinion: I believe that it was about time that the US started to think about regeneration opportunities for the Cuban people. They have suffered a lot, and they need help, and the US is starting to realize that. Cuba has great thing that could help the US, and vise versa to. I support the argument of reconnecting with Cuba for academic, cultural, and athletic reasons. For example this quote, “We are deeply worried for the changes, which can help the economic regimen in Cuba." (Translation of the letter. El Heraldo) said the five congress men on their letter. This shows that their could be a mayor impact on the Cuban and American economy, which will help both.
